We wish you all a very St. Patrick's Day and a happy Easter. See you all back at school on Monday 4th April 2016 :) Congratulations to our 6th class pupil Emma Carry who took part in a half time match in Páirc Táilteann in Navan on Sunday 13th March during the Meath v Tyrone match. Well done Emma!
We will celebrate Daffodil day on Wednesday 16th March by having a Fancy Dress Day. We ask all pupils to donate what they can to this worthy cause.
On Tuesday 15th March 2016 we were very proud to celebrate Proclamation Day to mark the centenary of the the 1916 Easter rising. We were delighted that Mrs Joan Tully , retired teacher and member of Drumconrath Historical Society raised our school's Irish flag. We also welcomed Larry Ward from the historical society who spoke to us all about 1916.We celebrated with traditional Irish dancing and song! As part of the celebrations our pupils read out our proclamation for a new generation written by everyone in our school. This is available to view below along with some photos of what is sure to be a day we will all remember forever.
Well done to our boy's football team today who took part in the Meath 7 a side competition. We say a special thanks to Mr. Hickey for training them for this day.
