We had a wonderful day yesterday as we celebrated our end of year mass. We said goodbye to our 6th class pupils. We wish them every success and happiness in the future and we are very proud of them. We also said goodbye today to Mrs. Joan Tully who is retiring this year. We thank her for her dedication to our school and for everything she has done for the children in Drumconrath. We wish her health and happiness in the next chapter of her life. Mrs. Tully surprised our pupils with a wonderful treat, an ice-cream van arrived to the delight of all!!! The sun shone on us here yesterday and it truly was a day to remember.
Our Sport's Day took place on Thursday 18th June. We had a wonderful day of fun and activities. We also raised our second Green flag on this day, awarded to us for conserving energy. Well done everyone!!!
Mr Hickey competed at the world drug-free powerlifting championships in Telford, England at the weekend. After a tough battle, his 260kgs squat won him first place. It's not every school that has a world champion on its staff. Well done! The Summer edition of the school chronicle will be available soon . See below for photo of our competition winners 😀 Congratulations to all our pupils who took part in the Athletics today in Navan. As always our students were a credit to the school with their behaviour and sportsmanship. We congratulate Hannah Rooney on winning a bronze medal and our boys relay team who made it to the finals. We are very proud of you all . There will be a non uniform day this Friday 12th June in aid of Focus Ireland. We are delighted to support this wonderful charity and we ask you to donate what you can.
There will be a clothing collection in aid of the school. All bags of old clothes etc. should be left in the school hall by Friday 12th June at 9am.
