Sixth class went on their Confirmation trip to Dublin on Friday 27thMay and reports were that they had a great time and were so well behaved as always!!
We had a wonderful day on Thursday 26th May as we held our annual Sport's Day. All pupils took part in various activity stations around the school. We also held the final of our European Championship Soccer tournament and the great news was that Ireland won!!! We hope that is a good omen for the next month in the real thing!!! Thanks to Mr. Hickey for organising such a wonderful competition and Mrs. Rowe and 6th class pupils for organising our day. Have a look at the photos below.
Congratulations to all our 6th class pupils who celebrated their Confirmation in Lobinstown church last Wednesday 18th May. We say a special thanks to Mrs. Rowe who prepared them so well. We also thank Fr. Connaughton and Alice Carolan for their help throughout the year.
Our new Junior Infants due to start school in September 2016 are invited in tomorrow Thursday 19th May at 2pm along with their parents to meet the teacher and learn about the school. We look forward to seeing you then.
Congratulations and very well done to all our 2nd class pupils who made their First Communion last Sunday 8th May. It was a wonderful day. Huge thank you to Mr. Hickey and Fr. Connaughton who prepared the class so well. Thank you to all our pupils who sang in the choir and thanks to Gavin Byrne for the wonderful photographs.
Our choir had lots of fun at their party. We thank them for their commitment and efforts throughout the year. We are very proud of them all.
First Holy Communion will take place this Sunday 8th May at 11.15am. We thank Fr. Connaughton and Mr. Hickey for preparing the class so well for this special day. We also thank all the parents who helped out throughout the year. We wish them all a wonderful and memorable day.
