What a wonderful day we had yesterday as we went on our Santa Run around the village. Along the way we visited some historical sites and we thank Mrs. Tully for organising this for us. We were all fascinated by the local history. Following this, we returned to school and got a huge surprise when the fire brigade pulled up, sirens blaring!! We were delighted when we discovered that Santa was with them!!! Santa came into the assembly hall and talked to all our pupils and each child got a wonderful present from him, a Drumconrath Football Club hat!!! We were delighted. We thank Drumconrath Football Club so much for this fantastic surprise!!! See photos of this great day below.

Garda Noel Loughran (Juvenile Liaison Officer) visited our school today, Thursday 8th December at 9.30am to speak to 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils abut internet safety and cyberbullying. Our pupils received a lot of useful information and tips. It is so important in this technological age that our pupils are aware how to stay safe online. Noel spoke recently at the Novena in Dundalk and we were delighted that he was able to visit us. Thank you Noel!!!
