First Confession for 2nd class pupils takes place in the church tonight, Thursday 14th March at 7.30pm. Very best of luck to all the boys and girls.
Lots of fun activities happening throughout the school this week as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. Thanks to Eitne, Conor and Ashley who visited the school. They played Irish music for all classes. All classes also took part in some Irish Dancing Classes.
Pupils from 3rd to 6th class will take part in Cycling Workshops over the next few weeks. This is part of our Green Schools Transport Programme.
All pupils from Junior Infants to 2nd Class took part in Scooter Workshops as part of our Green School Transport Programme. They had a wonderful few days. Road Safety being a major feature of the workshop. We encourage as many pupils as possible to walk/scoot/cycle to school when they can.
Paired Reading sessions for Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st Class take place every Tuesday morning and will run for 4 weeks during March. All parents/Grandparents are welcome. Our Book Fair is also in school at present.
9.15am - Ms Harte's Class 10.00am - Ms. Finlay's Class Gaelic Training is taking place every Thursday with Sean Hand from Meath GAA. All classes will participate in these lessons. Huge thanks to Drumconrath GFC for sponsoring this initiative.
