There will be a non uniform day, tomorrow Friday 30th September in the school in aid of Drumconrath Garden of Remembrance.
The pupils and staff of Drumconrath National School would like to send on their deepest sympathies to our Vice Principal Bernie Rowe on the passing of her beloved mother, Margaret Kieran and to the whole Kierans family. Margaret was a prominent figure in Drumconrath and Meath Hill and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. After school soccer with Ross Gaynor kicked off with a bang this week. All pupils enjoyed the training and this will run in the school for ten weeks. The pupils and staff of Drumconrath National School would like to send on their deepest sympathies to Past teacher Kathleen McArdle on the passing of her beloved husband James (Gerard) McArdle and to the whole McArdle family. Gerard was a prominent figure in Drumconrath for many years. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis. After School soccer coaching will begin next week with professional soccer player Ross Gaynor. The lessons will run for ten weeks and there will be three groups.
Group 1 (Junior and Senior Infants) will train from 2pm-3pm on Tuesdays, beginning Tuesday 13th September. Group 2 (1st-4th class) will train on Tuesdays from 3-4pm also beginning Tuesday 13th September. Group 3 (5th and 6th class) will train on Thursdays from 3-4pm beginning on Thursday 15th September We hope all pupils will enjoy these sessions. Please ensure pupils wear suitable clothing/footwear on these days. Meet the teacher sessions will take place next week in the school hall. We welcome all parents to join the class teacher for a cuppa and an informal chat. See timetable below.
