All our pupils have been taking part in dance lessons throughout the month of January as part of their PE Curriculum and as we aim to renew our Active School flag. We had a wonderful finale on Wednesday 27th January when parents, pupils and teachers all came together and had a hooley in the hall!!!! We waltzed, jived, line danced and even did the Hucklebuck!! Have a look at our photos below :) We have two teams taking part in this years Credit Union Quiz. The quiz will be held in Ardee Bohemian Centre on Monday 1st February at 8pm. We invite you to come along and support our school teams.

We were delighted today when Helen Mc Entee TD dropped in to see us!!! She visited all classrooms and spoke to our pupils. We talked about the centenary of the 1916 rising and also about our wonderful trip to the Dail which we thank Helen for organising for us. Helen has been a great friend to our school and previously visited us in 2013 to raise our first Green flag. She has been a wonderful inspiration to our pupils and we wish her the very best of luck in the upcoming elections ! We hope we will see her again in the near future.😀
We had a wonderful experience at the practise workshop for our Peace Proms concert. The pupils were fantastic and the songs sound so good when we sing them all together!!! We are singing in the concert on Saturday 6th February at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.peaceproms.com. Make sure you buy tickets for the right concert!!! On the day pupils should wear a plain white t-shirt and their school tracksuit bottoms. All pupils should bring a pair of sunglasses with them also. The bus for pupils will leave the school at 10am sharp and return at approx 5.30pm. We are really excited and looking forward to this wonderful day :)
