We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded our second Green Flag. This was part of a two year process in which all pupils studied the conservation of energy and the school has become a much more energy efficient place. The flag will be presented to members of the Green School committee on the 20th May in the Helix, RDS. We received our first flag (litter and waste) in May 2013. Congratulations to all staff and pupils for their hard work and enjoy the celebrations!!! Special thanks to our Green School committee and Ms. Kirk for co-ordinating the project. On Friday 1st May , pupils from Nobber National School will visit us and perform their play "Nobber's Forgotten Heroes". We are really looking forward to this :)
A travelling theatre company visited our school on Monday 20th April and performed "Alice in Wonderland" for us. It was a wonderful production and we really enjoyed it! Our Senior pupils took part in a Drama workshop after the show and learned a lot about the work that goes into these performances.
